It took a whole team effort to hold off the Bulldogs last night. Brighton shot the lights out and gave it their best effort but the Pirates were able to keep composure and hit their free throws down the line to earn a 57-51 victory Tuesday night in front of the home town crowd. “It was a fun game to watch and play.” said Coach Reason.
The student section was full of energy and brought the Hawaiian spirit to help support the boys.
The Pirates were led offensively by Kyle O’Donohue’s 27 points and key assists. A quick pass to Chase Fuller (pictured below), who added 10 points off the bench, ended the 3rd quarter and gave the Pirates a 7 point lead.
The next game for the boys will be on Friday night at 7:00 as they travel to Howell to face the Highlanders.
