Jacqulyn Kolnitys and Alexandria Curtis signed their letter of intent to play basketball next year for the Lansing Community College Stars!
Jacqulyn was a standout Senior this year and the voice for the Pirates! She was named “Pirate of the Year” for her leadership and dedication to the sport. Her grittiness and competitive edge will be an asset to the Stars next season. In addition to athletics, she will be studying nursing in the fall.
Lexi was a 3 year Varsity starter for the Pirates! Her strength, hustle, determination, and fundamental skill set will give the Stars a go-to post this season. In addition to basketball, she will be studying Early Childhood Education next year.
Coach Cogswell stated that, “I’m extremely proud of these two. They have what it takes to play at the next level. Their dedication to the game and self improvement has proven to be promising for their futures. They will both continue to get better in college because they seek to be the best and don’t accept anything short of that. They both do the little things that matter….They were great teammates to their peers and both bring a spark to the room or gym when they enter.”
Congratulations ladies! We are excited to see what your future will bring and are looking forward to trips to Lansing to watch you play!
