Pinckney Senior, Jack Wurzer, surrounded by his family and friends, officially signed his Letter of Intent to continue both his academic and athletic career next year at Adrian College where he plans to major in Architecture.
Jack is a 2-year starter at Quarterback for the Pirates as well as the starting shortstop for the baseball team. This past fall he led the football team to a SEC Championship and their 2nd consecutive home playoff game.
There are many people throughout Pirate Nation that would have nothing but good things about this Senior leader, especially the football coaching staff.
Head Coach Beaton said, “J5 will go down as one of the greatest of all time at PHS. He was 16-5 as a starter and was an outstanding leader. He’s a program kid and class act all the way around. We can’t wait to see all the big things he does in the future. We love ya and wish you all the best!”
Offensive coordinator Cody Patton said, “Jack sets the standard for us at this position. He had 162 pass attempts and 0 interceptions. It just shows his understanding of the offense and his preparation for each game.”
