Pinckney Wrestling split their duals on Saturday beating Addison and Sand Creek, improving the overall team record to 16-14. Two wrestlers went 4-0 on the day, Lucas Nagle and Jacob Muscato (pictured below).

A handful of wrestlers also headed to Dansville to compete in an indiviudal meet and landed on the podium.

The wrestlers host an SEC Tri-Meet against Jackson and Adrian at 5:30 on Wednesday in the High School Gym.

The Varsity hockey team went 1-1 over the weekend, losing to Mid-Michgan Friday night and coming back to beat Bedford on Saturday in overtime. Highlights from Saturday’s game included:

Competitive Cheer
The competitive cheer team hosted their annual Blackout Cheer Invititational on Saturday.  This young team found success as they improved thier scores in each round.  The cheer team hits the road this weekend to perform this weekend at the Shorian Invitational @ Lake Shore High School.
Both the girls and boys teams were in action on Friday night.  The girls team hosted Adrian while the boys went on the road to face the Maples.  The girls fought hard and came up just short, losing by 3.  The boys also hit the court hard and came home with a decisive 50-37 victory.
The Pirates face both Tecumseh and Jackson this week on the road.
