The Pinckney Boys Tennis Team traveled to Chelsea on Monday, August 24th for 3 dual matches. Pinckney defeated Milan 6-2, defeated Bedford 5-3 and lost to Chelsea 8-0.
Alex Geyer (1st Singles), Trevor Jones and Elliot McDonald (2nd Doubles) and Brendan Magnus and Sterling Pifer (4th Doubles) each won 2 matches on Monday.
Pinckney players made great adjustments during their matches to win 5 of the 6 3-set matches!
Coach Diaz said, “For a team that graduated all of its singles players from last year and only has 2 returning varsity players, it was a great effort by players who played JV last year or were introduced to the sport this summer.”
