The boys track team had an awesome Saturday at 2 different meets as our 9th and 10th graders headed to South Lyon for the Sunshine Invitational and our 11th and 12th graders headed to Saline for the Saline “May Day” Showcase.

A great day for our freshman and sophomores at this meet! This small but mighty group of 18 took 2nd place overall at the Invitational. By far we have the small school enrollment of any school that was at this meet so it truly shows the fight and dedication our small group has.

There was no team scoring or medals at this meet but we did have tons of great performances and quite a few PR’s!

200 Meter Dash: Dylan Reason
1600 Meter Run: Gavin White
3200 Meter Relay: Luke Burns, Caleb Jarema, Jake Woods, and Gavin White
Also in HUGE news from this meet: Congratulations to Dylan Reason on breaking his own 200 meter dash record again (2nd time in 5 days) at the Saline May Day Showcase! He is the first Pinckney runner ever to run under 22 seconds with his time of 21.94 yesterday.

We had a ton of top 8 performances across the board as or upperclassmen represented pretty well Saturday!
 
The team has a busy week as they will head to Ypsilanti Lincoln for an SEC Dual meet on Tuesday and Farmington High School for the New Balance Invite on Saturday.
