Pirate Skaters Primed for District Action!

The Pinckney Pirate Hockey team is set to face Dexter for the third time this season Tuesday night in District Action.  Each team has previously beaten the other one and the Pirates have plans of sinking the Dreadnaughts again tomorrow. Game time is 5:00 pm at the Chelsea Arctic Coliseum. Good Luck Pirates!  

Pirates Swimmers Qualify for States

It was a great weekend in the water for members of the Pirate Swim and Dive team at the KLAA Conference Meet.  In total, six swimmers qualified for the final state meet which will be held on March 10th and 11th. Regional Round Up

Saturday was a great day for wrestling as the MHSAA Regional tournament was held here at Pinckney High School.  Over a hundred wrestlers from 40 schools came to compete and 56 of them advanced to the final state tournament.  Pinckney’s own Jimmy Muscato was one of them!  He placed 2nd in the 140 weight class and

Competitive Cheer Advances to Regionals!

The Competitive Cheer team is on a roll and heading to Regionals!  They performed well and hit their stunts to finish 3rd out of 14 teams at the District tournament in Flint on Friday. This qualified the ladies to compete for the Regional title for the 1st time in Pinckney Competitive Cheer history! Way to go Pirates!

Pirates Bowlers Faired Well in Conference Tournament!

A great big shout to both the boys and the girls bowling teams that participated in the KLAA Championships yesterday! The girls team, comprised of Molly Patterson, Abbie Wagner, Josie Griffith, Hunter Peczynski, Taylor Whipple, and Rachel Kuczajda, and Anna WIlmanowicz made the cut and played in the match play portion by finishing in 8th place

Men’s BoarderCross Placed 2nd at the State Finals!

    A HUGE shout out to the Pinckney Men’s BoarderCross team who finished second in the state yesterday!  Walled Lake Central took first place and Hartland finished third. Pirate coach, Rob Vedder said, “We rode well, the kids had fun, and we all represented Pinckney very well!” Way to go Pirates!
