The boys tennis team completed it’s season with a 7-1-1 record and at last Friday’s regional tournament.  They qualified for the state finals tournament, in Kalamazoo  this Friday, after scoring 10 team points. Tennis is Preparing for Regionals!

The boys tennis team have a busy week preparing for their regional match-ups on Friday. The Pinckney Boys Tennis team improved its dual meet record to 4-0 with a 8-1 victory over Hartland at the Pinckney tennis courts.  Pinckney swept the singles and won 4 out of the 5 doubles matches.  Sebastian Smith improved his season record to 14-2 at 4th singles.

Varsity Tennis Improves to 8-0

The Pirate Tennis team improved it’s SEC record to 3-0 and overall season record to 8-0 with a win over Tecumseh Tuesday afternoon. Pinckney Tennis Serves up a Win!

Pinckney hosted its annual tennis tournament today at the Pinckney High School and Pathfinder tennis courts.  Pinckney won the tournament with 23 points (1 point per win) followed by a strong St. Johns team which had 21 points followed by Mason with 7 points and Livonia Franklin with 3 points. Pinckney beat Dexter 9-0 on October 3 at the Dexter tennis courts to raise their season record to 7-4.  Matt Folk came back to win the 3rd set at 4th singles.  Coach Francis Diaz said that he is very proud of this team – all four of our losses this year were to top tennis
