Pirate Swimmers are Making Waves

The boys swim and dive team picked up two wins in the SEC defeating both Tecumseh and Ypsilanti Thursday night at home! There successes in the pool began last weekend at Lakeland Invitational where the team had 5 MISCA qualifications in swim and 1 diver. David Turner is heading to GVSU!

David Turner has committed to D2 swimming powerhouse Grand Valley State University.  In his four years as a Pirate swimmer, David qualified for the State competition each year and he is the recipient of three All-State Honors.  In addition, he is the 2017 Kensington Lakes Conference title holder in both the 100 and 200 Freestyle.

Pirates Swimmers Qualify for States

It was a great weekend in the water for members of the Pirate Swim and Dive team at the KLAA Conference Meet.  In total, six swimmers qualified for the final state meet which will be held on March 10th and 11th. Swim Teams Raise Money for Special Olympics!
