2019 Men’s SEC White Championship held at Dexter

PHS Men’s Swim and Dive team competed in the SEC Championships over the weekend.  After the prelims on Friday, the Pirates brought 18 of the 20 members back for the finals on Saturday. Swim Succeeds on Senior Night

The Boy’s Swim and Dive team concluded their home dual meet season celebrating seniors Al Thorington and Ruben Learreta with a 106 to 80 win over the Chelsea Bulldogs! Swim and Dive Takes the Plunge

  The Men’s Swim and Dive team took a quick break from their busy season to support another group of athletes and raised money for the Special Olympics.  The boys “took the plunge” and jumped into a frozen lake in 10 degree weather.  The student athletes raised over $3,600 by gathering pledges  and for the

Muscato Dives His Way To States

Junior Diver, Jacob Muscato, competed in the Division 2 Diving Regionals on Thursday and dived his way to a 10th place finish and punched his ticket to the state meet next weekend in Oakland University.   Congratulations Jacob!  

Swim & Dive Places 2nd at SEC Meet

The men’s swim and dive team placed 2nd at the SEC White Division Swimming and Diving Championships this past weekend. The Pirate Swimmers competed in the 26th Annual Dexter High School Freshman-Sophomore Swim and Dive Invitational last weekend and brought home several medals! Pirate Swimmers are Making Waves

The boys swim and dive team picked up two wins in the SEC defeating both Tecumseh and Ypsilanti Thursday night at home! There successes in the pool began last weekend at Lakeland Invitational where the team had 5 MISCA qualifications in swim and 1 diver. David Turner is heading to GVSU!

David Turner has committed to D2 swimming powerhouse Grand Valley State University.  In his four years as a Pirate swimmer, David qualified for the State competition each year and he is the recipient of three All-State Honors.  In addition, he is the 2017 Kensington Lakes Conference title holder in both the 100 and 200 Freestyle.

Pirates Swimmers Qualify for States

It was a great weekend in the water for members of the Pirate Swim and Dive team at the KLAA Conference Meet.  In total, six swimmers qualified for the final state meet which will be held on March 10th and 11th.
