Senior Wrestler Honored with Scholarship

The Pinckney Wrestling Club Boosters had the honor of awarding the 2019 Jack Dunn Memorial Wrestling Scholarship for embodying the spirit of Pinckney Wrestling to Senior Dalton Kanerva.  Congratulations on this well deserved award!

Freshman Wrestler Places at State Meet

Freshman wrestler, Lucas Nagle,  took 3rd this weekend at the MYWAY State Wrestling Championships. The tournament was held at the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo and included wrestlers from all over the state of Michigan. Nagle’s only loss of the day was against a tough opponent that went one to win the overall championship.  His

Wrestling Competes at SEC Championships

Pinckney Grapplers finished 3rd in the SEC White division and 7th overall at the SEC Championships this past weekend.  They now move on to post season competition with team districts taking place Wednesday night, February 6th at 6:00 pm at Pinckney High School. Weekend Round Up

Wrestling Pinckney Wrestling split their duals on Saturday beating Addison and Sand Creek, improving the overall team record to 16-14. Two wrestlers went 4-0 on the day, Lucas Nagle and Jacob Muscato (pictured below). Pirate Grapplers Hit the Mats Hard

The wrestling team started their season off last week hosting a quad meet with Annapolis, Catholic Central, and Dexter.  While they did not win our duals, Coach Little did like what he saw. Drive 4 Your School

Help support our Pinckney Wrestling program and participate in the Drive 4 Your School event. It’s super easy and fun! All you have to do is come up to the high school on Saturday, April 7th and test drive the newest Ford vehicles. Click on the picture for more details! See you there!

Emch Is Moving on to States!

Under the mantra, #piratesneverquit, David Emch did just that and took 4th place in the regional tournament and qualified for the MHSAA State Championships! He will compete March 2nd and 3rd at Ford Field in Detroit! Good luck David!
