Boys Track Team Wins SEC

The boy’s track team cliched an SEC championship after finishing second at the SEC finals meet on Friday.  Along with the team being recognized as champions, some team members were also recognized for their individual efforts.   Read the full Livingston Daily article here.

Boys and Girls Track Win on Senior Night

  It was a record breaking night for the Pirates on the track and the Seniors wouldn’t have wanted it any other way as both teams defeated the Adrian Maples to stay undefeated in the SEC. Boys Highlights: Nick Cain broke the school record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.7 seconds. 

Track Races Well At Trojan Relays

The track teams headed to Whitmore Lake on Friday to race in the annual Trojan Relays Invite.  The girls finished 3rd out of 16 teams and earned 27 medals! The boys finished 2nd out of 12 teams. Read the Livingston Daily race recap here.  The Pirates look to keep rolling and pick up two more SEC

Spring Sport Information

Pirate Runners Represent at States!

The members of the men’s and women’s track teams that qualifed for states competed this Saturday in Grand Rapids.  The Pirates ran well and represented Pinckney by bringing home All State honors as well as new school and country records! Ryan Talbott ran a 9:10.64 in the 3200 Meter to break the school record, place 5th

Runners are heading to States!

Both the boys and the girls track teams competed in the regional tournament on Friday.  Although the weather was not the best, the kids gave it their all and several qualified for the final State meet in June. Boys Track Runs Over Hartland

It was a good night for the Pirate Men’s Track them as they defeated the Hartland Eagles by a score of 91 – 46. The top distance guys for the night were, Aaron Jarema and Ryan Talbott who took 1st and 2nd in both the 1600 and 3200 races. Alex Wasyl led the way in sprints
