Baseball Splits with Fowlerville

Baseball Pitchers Shutout Ypsilanti

Pinckney Pirates defeated Ypsilanti 10-0 on Monday as the pitching duo of Drew and Nick Cortez  combined to throw a shutout. Drew was the winning pitcher as he surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out ten, and walking one.  Nick threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. The Pirates

Hungry Howies Spring Scholarship Awarded

Senior, Drew Cortez, is the winner of the Spring 2018 Hungry Howies Scholarship.  He is a four-year member of the Pirate baseball team.  In addition to baseball, he also competes with our Robotics program, participates with Spanish and traditional National Honor Society, volunteers regularly, and carries a 3.9 GPA.

      Pinckney Senior, Jenny Heath, has committed to play NCAA Division III college hockey At Elmira College, in upstate New York.  Jenny is currently a Senior at Pinckney High School. There are so many athletes that represent the Pinckney Pirates Athletics program in a positive way on a daily basis! Finding the balance between athletics and academics is challenging.
