The Varsity hockey team competed in the Michigan Public High School Hockey Showcase this weekend at the Arctic Coliseum in Chelsea and came out with a pair of wins. This season, the Pinckney Pirate Varsity Hockey team, has been focusing on supporting and giving back to the community. During Saturday’s game, they chose to honor military personnel. The game opened with the local boy scouts standing in formation while holding the Unites States flag, Sophmore Annabelle Haberkorn singing the National Anthem, and the Pirates lined up adorned in military jerseys

Wrestling Pinckney Wrestling split their duals on Saturday beating Addison and Sand Creek, improving the overall team record to 16-14. Two wrestlers went 4-0 on the day, Lucas Nagle and Jacob Muscato (pictured below). A handful of wrestlers also headed to Dansville to compete in an indiviudal meet and landed on the podium.
